Itti Bitti Tutto Diaper Giveaway at Happenings of the Harper Household

Itti Bitti is a cloth diaper brand I only first heard about a few weeks ago. This Australian based company first started in 2005 but has only been available in the US since March. From now through July 10th Happenings of the Harper Household is hosting an Itti Bitti Tutto giveaway. These diapers look fantastic, with the weight range being from 8-44 pounds, and a plush exterior. The inside looks a bit complex to me, I'm not sure if this would be considered an all-in-two or something else, but Itti Bitti offers a guide on their website. It doesn't come in any prints, but it has 18 vibrant colors, including fuchsia and yellow which I love. Go check it out!

Newborn Diapers... Oh My Oh My!

I've been dead set on cloth diapering for as long as I can remember, between the benefits for the environment and the benefits on my wallet it is a win, win in my opinion. But what I never gave much thought to was what I would use as far as type and brand go, and it seems with newborn diapers this is even more confusing. There are people who swear by prefolds and covers to save money for the newborn stage, and others who love fitteds and covers. Some people love the pockets or all-in-ones for easier changes, and it seems no one agrees on what really is the best, but that can be expected as no two people are the same so opinions are going to vary, however it is making it very difficult to decide what to buy. I personally am leaning towards pockets and all-in-ones though I may decide to try some covers with prefolds or fitteds as well. But which to chose?

Brands I'm considering trying for pockets and all-on-ones include Fuzzibunz Perfect Size XS Pocket, Grovia Newborn All-in-One, Tots Bots Tini Fit Pocket, Lil Joeys All-in-One, and Bumgenius XS All-in-One. For prefolds, fitteds, and covers well to be honest I just don't know.

I won my first ever giveaway this past week, I am so excited! Mommy of 1 and Counting hosted a Glamourmom Review and Giveaway for a Nursing Bra Full Bust Long Top and I won it! I can't wait to receive this in the mail and I'm sure it will get a lot of use this summer once I deliver. I love that it is designed for full breasted women, because I feel this is something a lot of companies forget about. I've been out trying to find maternity clothes this week, and have been getting extremely frustrated with the amount of chest coverage provided. I am so excited that I will have one nursing top that should fit great for my nursing tops collection, for free!
